Mission

WISH empowers underserved populations, particularly vulnerable and marginalized women, girls, and boys, helping them overcome adversity to make meaningful contributions to the transformation of their communities.

Vision

Our vision is a world free from poverty, disease, and abuse, where every individual thrives in a harmonious and equitable global community.

Our Program Range

WISH is a gender equity advocacy and youth-serving organization, with a focus on socio-economic empowerment and social norms transformation surrounding gender inequalities.

Our Approach

WISH uses gender transformative approaches to narrow gender disparity gaps and create access to socio-economic empowerment opportunities to transform post-conflict Liberia’s socio-economic inequities. We strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of vulnerable and marginalized groups, including women, adolescent girls, minorities, and physically challenged persons through programs that disseminate requisite skills, experience, and knowledge. We engage a wider range of stakeholders in developing ideas that generate local solutions for culturally sensitive programs for the transformation of our communities.

Our Impact

Our engagement with communities through gender transformative norms approaches has set us apart as a unique social enterprise that fosters social norms transformation, gender equity advocacy, sexual and reproductive health rights advocacy, environmental protection, and livelihood security for inadequately served pop.
